Richfaces 3.2 and OAS 10.1.3

Hi,

Reading the Oracle Application Server 10.1.3 specification I found out that it doesn't support JSF 1.2. But taking a look into the Richfaces 3.2 spec I found out that one of the supported app servers is OC4J/OAS 10.1.3. Then my question is, is there a mistake in either the Richfaces or the AOS specification? or does Richfaces 3.2 work with JSF 1.1 too?

No, it is a mistake in the spec. RichFaces 3.2.x does not support JSF 1.1 . Only 3.1.x does.

I've just today made a succesfuly and working deploy of our application on Oracle 10.1.3.3 test server...

We are using :
JSF RI 1.2
rich faces 3.2.1 SNAPHOT
facelets
hibernate
..

So Oracle seem to support Rich faces ;-)

I am trying to deployed the war file form this like to OC4j 10.1.3

it is using

* JSF 1.2 (as included in Glassfish V2)
o jsf-api.jar
o jsf-impl.jar
* Facelets 1.1.14
o jsf-facelets.jar
* RichFaces
o richfaces-api-3.1.4.GA.jar
o richfaces-impl-3.1.4.GA.jar
o richfaces-ui-3.1.4.GA.jar
* Although they are not noted as explicit requirements, RichFaces assumes the following JARs are also available:
o commons-beanutils-1.7.0.jar
o commons-collections-3.2.jar
o commons-digester-1.8.jar
o commons-logging-1.0.4.jar
o jhighlight-1.0.jar

is also included

I got this error oc4j 10.1.3

Exception: NoClassDefFoundError: javax/el/CompositeELResolver
Operation failed with error:
javax/el/CompositeELResolver

I really want to use richfaces for my project with OC4J 1.1.3. But have a lot of trouble to deploy it.

Add el-api/el-impl .jar files.
