Can you please clarify what RichFaces version are you using? -
2. Re: rich:component not found error
echen1 Apr 18, 2008 12:52 PM (in response to echen1)I was wondering about that myself. I am using the one that comes with SEAM 2.0.1.GA. Could you let me know how to identify the version? I downloaded SEAM on 2/5/08 if that helps. (btw, does instant reply work? I submitted an instant reply, but did not see it posted.)

3. Re: rich:component not found error
nbelaevski Apr 18, 2008 1:09 PM (in response to echen1)Version can be discovered looking into richfaces-*.jar file's manifest or by checking value of org.richfaces.VersionBean.REVISION constant.
Seam 2.0.1.GA comes with 3.1.4 version of RichFaces.
rich-* functions are implemented in 3.2.0 version, they aren't accessible in 3.1.x versions.
P.S. Looks like instant reply is broken, because I can see two posts from you only. -

echen1 Apr 18, 2008 1:16 PM (in response to echen1)Could you tell me if I need to add richfaces filter to the web.xml file besides the Seam filter for the Rich functions to work? Thank you...

ilya_shaikovsky Apr 21, 2008 3:50 AM (in response to echen1)As Nick told you rich:functions works only from 3.2.0 version. Nothing should be added to make them availble.
