Eclipse Designer tips... how to find+fix XML problems?

I love the graphical design editor in Eclipse, but I often find that by editing the actions/script in the XML not carefully enough, or sometimes even just saving, closing, and opening it again, I get an error and cannot open the file in the designer. I then go through a slow and arduous process of trying to figure out what is wrong and fixing it.

Is there a way i can turn on debug logging for the plugin that will show me which node/transition/object it is hanging on to help me get it in shape quicker?

Hi Dan,

Please bear with us... The short answer is that there is indeed no logging possible. We can add this as much as possible in future versions of the designer, please file a request for this in JIRA.
The good news is that configuring scripts and actions will be entirely possible in graphical mode soon.
