3. Re: process design
sergey.rybets May 16, 2007 11:09 AM (in response to sergey.rybets)one more question - if I dont know the count of subtasks for which process should be spawned - is there a dynamical spawning?
In specified example there is only 2 nodes in fork - but can this number be dynamical? not hardcoded in process definition?
For example I need to generate report for each selled item - and I can't define that smbd can sell only defined number of items.
Thank you. -

kukeltje May 16, 2007 3:10 PM (in response to sergey.rybets)yes, just use a processvariable for that. Store the number in advance and read it in the foreachforkhandler.

sergey.rybets May 16, 2007 3:33 PM (in response to sergey.rybets)Ronald, could you please make an example of using process variable in that case? That would be a great help. Thank you

6. Re: process design
kukeltje May 16, 2007 3:43 PM (in response to sergey.rybets)I bet it would be a great help, but if you look at the foreachactionhandler you'll see variables are already created and if you read a little more on jbpm, you'll see that these actionhandlers for nodes are 'identical' to actionhandlers that perform actions on events. Lots of examples of these, including ones which read variables.
So the answer is: no, sorry. -
