using filterBy and filterMethod on the same table

hi,

it's normal that we can not use filterBy on one column and filterMethod on an other?

I have to use external filtering on one column, but, others columns filtering do not work, on the filterEvent, ajax request dont get finish after a lot of secondes..

Could you please check if this works fine with SUN RI? We've deployed our richfaces-demo with 3.2.1 SR1 and it's working fine.

Anyway currently can't advice you to update the libs to latest snapshots because of an issue http://jira.jboss.com/jira/browse/RF-3277
