Displaying the status as an image

Hi

Can you please let me know how I can do the following:

When using the status "a4j:status", I have the following code:

<a4j:status id="commonstatus" startText="In Progress...." stopText="" />

When my command is executed, the text "In progress" is displayed. I would like to display an image (like a progress bar to be displayed instead of text".

Can you please let me know how this can be implemened as an image?
