Cannot get variables names to save on a Start Task

I am using the book "Business Process Management with JBoss jBPM" by Matt Cumberlidge.
In Chap 3 (p 88) Tutorial it asks to rename the variables to "audDate" but everytime I try to change the "Name" & "Mapped Name" it is reverting to 'variable1'

I am using JBoss jBPM 3.2.2 with eclipse 3.3. (When running eclipse 3.2.1, I could not get JBoss jBPM selection to come up in the "New" menu).

Any help on this would be appreciated!

Try pressing after you type in the variable name. I believe is normal behavior for Eclipse, but that a request to have it altered to not require a has been submitted.

I'm working through the same book right now and will be glad to assist you if you need any help.

Oops. RETURN is not displaying in my reply, but you probably get it point.

I did need to sync up with the project in CVS and rebuild to get some things to work as described in the book.
