Contributing a New Document to JBPM Community

Hi,

I am an employee of Cognizant Technology solutions and for past couple of months my group had been evaluating JBPM 3.2.2.We have come up with a tutorial which is more relevant for developers who would be using this modelling tool.We want to contribute the same at the JBoss community.Is there any procedure for the same like verifications etc or I can just upload a file at the Jbpm wiki site?

I don't know how you would do it, but please! The more documentation the better.

Uploading to the wiki is always possisble. But if you have it in html and do not want to convert it to something else, maybe put it up somewhere else and refere to it from a wiki page. If it is realt interesting maybe it can become part of the default jBPM docs

If/when you do add your documentation to the wiki or create a link, please post back on this forum where we can find it. I'm sure everyone will appreciate your effort :)

I've quickly went over the pages in the document, and it looks a decent introduction to jBPM.

You can find the document in the following location:-

Under the Attachement section on the same page the link with the name:-
http://wiki.jboss.org/wiki/_Files/Main/jbpm3.2.2-handsontutorial.pdf is the location to the actual document.

I just came across this post. Sorry for my being late :-)

Anyway, kudos for this effort and a real big thank you. I created a new wiki page here: http://wiki.jboss.org/wiki/JbpmContributedDocs and included your contribution on it.

It might be a good idea to include such a document in the distribution right away. As we are going to release jBPM 3.2.3 soon, this might need some editing. Also, it would be necessary to include the sources for the pdf, to allow the community to perform the necessary changes. Would you be interested in doing this?
