    Access to task instance

    varundoda

      Hi,

I am new to jBPM. I am working on websale example which
comes in built in jBPM-jpdl-3.2.2. The problem is when I create a new
instance of the process then any user (manager, shipper, admin, user)
is able to see and perform the task in its tasklist. I want the task to
appear in the tasklist of whom it has been assigned and only assigned
user should be able to perform it. Please help.

I believe jpdl doest not restrict the user to do so, it should be your application that should handle the functionality you are expecting.
          Not sure though.

          Thanks

PLEAAAAAAASSSSSEEEEEEE search the forums first. Or search the JIRA, or google or whatever...
            - it's not a jpdl issue
            - it's a webconsole 'issue'
            - it's 'fixed' in cvs
            - it was intended to work this way by the person who developed it since the console was (is) not realy intended as an end-user application

Hi kukeltje, by this you mean that this issue is related to webconsole only. I am curious to know if jpdl provides any mechanism to restrict the task to be completed only by the assigned user or should the developers who integrate the jpdl package has to do this on their own in their application if they are not using webconsole.

              Thanks.
