jbarrez Sep 23, 2008 9:08 AM (in response to ajanz)Try to see the SQL output (hibernate config option) and check where it is slow.
The query should be fast since it is only one DB table...perhaps you'll need to create some indices -

good question. of course never.
Then WHY do you call this method? What are you trying to achieve? Asking questions in a specific direction you are thinking (limiting them) does not give us much to help you find a solution to the probably underlying problem. -
5. Re: speed up GetProcessInstancesCommand
ajanz Sep 25, 2008 4:16 AM (in response to ajanz)i want to give the user or administrator a scrollable list of relevant processinstances.
so may be 100 processitems are for a specific user, but he only wants to see the first ten. -
6. Re: speed up GetProcessInstancesCommand
kukeltje Sep 25, 2008 4:27 AM (in response to ajanz)The jBPM console already does this afaik... so see what is done there... oh ...and btw, the definition of 'relevant' is again to broad. You have to be more specific.
Regarding the list for users, what is a processitem? A task? then show tasks, not processinstances
