GPD and remote process definition editing

Hello,

Does GPD have the ability to remotely edit a process definition already deployed on a server?

I suspect the answer is no as I have not seen any mention of such a feature in any of the documentation.

If the answer is no, then I have the following question:

Is it possible to deploy a process definition in a way that overrides an existing deployment instead of creating a new version of that definition?

- well... yes and no... this can be a complex thing. If you search the forum, (e.g. with google) you'll see lots of discussions on this. jBPM does not support it via e.g. an api specifically designed for this purpose. Low level access to the definition is possible though via an api. Making manual changes to that is possible, but not via just deploying another xml file. You are fully on your own though, no guarantees from us
