timer questions

i seems that chapter 'timers' in the devguide is not finished yet, either the userguide(i mean jbpm4).
can any one help me with the usage of the timer,job,jobexecutor...
is it the timer in jbpm4 can act as a timer in bpmn? or what can i do anything with this timer?

Jeff,

I think it is best to look at the testcases in the source. That way you can see what is finished and what is not. You can also see how things are used at the moment.

i've been trying for days but still no gains(i am a intelligent student..T.T)... i found few testcase is referenced to timer, and the guide/javadoc either... so i am still have no idea with the usage of 'timer'..
could anyone just shares a simple example or?
