If jBPM implemented this in the api, it would probably be implemented like you do with a hibernate proxy. -

Thanks a lot for your answer (I was not "watching" this topic so I missed your answer).
My knowledge of hibernate is quite limited, however I thought that there might be a cleaner way of getting the timer and the action. Being honest I didn't check how the information of the other entities (tokens, nodes, etc.) are retrieved from the DB and transformed into objects.
I will have a look to it.
