how to batch submit failed tasks?

I have developed a process flow that automates a business process. The failures during execution are captured as human tasks.

Now I want to batch submit a bunch of tasks based on failure message patterns.

Do we have APIs that will enable me to resubmit the human tasks so that I can automate batch resubmit on a scheduled basis....

what is 'resubmit the human tasks'? jBPM has an api with which you can do almost anything... but sometimes you have to combine with other frameworks, depending on what you want
