Assigning tasks to actors

How do I specify which user have to perform a task???

I think a task should be assigned to a role.
So any actor that have this role can participate in the task.
The kind of participation should be permorming the task or voting.

An actor can be a person, so there must be a user interface to interact with him, or an agent (object that decides how to participate in task).

These functionalities can be achieved with current version o jBPM?

Yes, you can do it with the current version of jBPM.

You can assign tasks to a single actor or you can assign tasks to a pool of actors. If you use one pool of actors for each role of users, then all users with the given role could execute the task, but only one of them will execute the task.

I don't know what 'voting' means but I think you could do it by developing your own AssignmentHandler.
