Save and Close button in the web console

    bazoo

I think this button is confusing. At the moment, when you click it you immediately go to the next task form in the process, even if that task is not assigned to you. I think it would make more sense for you to be navigated back to your user task list on clicking that button. That would also resolve the problem of seeing "other people's" tasks.

      Cheers
      Matt

PLEASE Search the forum first... this has been discussed extensively and comment in that thread

Searching this forum on "Save and Close" doesn't turn up anything relevant. If there is another thread covering this then apologies but I don't think the world will come to an end by me doing a new post.

I have to admit, it is somewhere in the dungeons. Your searchterms do not give a response, but other, closely related ones didn't either. I only found it through my personal links... hmmm

The webconsole in 3.2beta does not take the assignments fully into account. This should be fixed in 3.2 final (I even think there is a jira issue for this.

                Can you elaborate a bit?

i thought i read somewhere that when a user closes a task, you automatically show the next task, no matter to which actor that task is assigned. not sure exactly of this is the case, but it would not be desired behaviour.

also, a better information message should be displayed in case a user automatically is navigated from one task to the next.

                  regards, tom.
