Job.configuration property

Hi!

In the jbpm 3 Job class there is a field "configuration" which is actually not used by anything. Does anybody remember why it is there?

I would like to misuse it for something I have to remember for a job, so it is perfect for me there :-)

But then I would add a Javadoc why it is there and that it can be used to do whatever you want to do with it...

Or did me and my eclipse miss the usage of it?

No, must be a legacy artifact. It is not persisted, so its value is kinda limited from my point of view.

I think too. But I would keep it and just add a javadoc. It is quite handy if you need to store something together with the Job.

And in this case you can just exchange the hibernate mapping in your project...

i don't recall this. but i assume it is probably for some kind of extensibility like bernd needs it for :-)
