    JBoss in Live Environment

    prashant_p

      Hi,

Has anyone deployed JBoss on a machine with dual IP? I.e. an external virtual IP for the clients, traffic to this virtual IP will be redirected to the internal IP at firewall level.

I tried to follow the link http://wiki.jboss.org/wiki/Wiki.jsp?page=UsingJBossBehindAFirewall but it didn?t work.

      I'm using JBoss 4.0.2
      Linux: Fedora Core 4

      regards
      Prashant

          Hello,

I think, you need to open all ports in the external ip that might be accessed by the clients. After that you need to forward each of ports from the external ip to the port of internal ip. You can use the firewall to implement this.

If this doesn't answer your question, can you please post the problem you are facing in implementing the setup?
