Weird access to jboss problem (port 1099)

We've recently upgraded from jboss 4.0.x to 4.3.2

Everything seems to work fine, however there is a slight problem.

On the old installation the port seems to be opened fine, it is possible to telnet with "telnet IP 1099".

In the new installation using "telnet IP 1099" we get a connection refused. But "telnet localhost 1099" seems to work.

What is the problem here? I suppose it is some configuration issue in JBoss... where can we fix this?
