Unable to capture column header action when clicked on the s

Hi,
I have a problem with datatable simple sort,
If i add ajax support for the h:outputText column i am able to capture the action of the user click

However when i clicked on the icon next to the rendered output text display for the sort function, I cannot find a way to capture that event

The reason for capturing such event are to be enable rerender of the data scroller to the first page

dataTable provides the reRender attribute in 3.2.2 snapshots. It could be used in order to reRender scrollers while sorting/filterign used.
