1. Re: Setting the dafault portal
jlaskowski Oct 7, 2005 9:38 AM (in response to clixclix)Hi,
Use /portal/ url. That's the servlet that will route the request to appropriate portal.

clixclix Oct 7, 2005 9:45 AM (in response to clixclix)Of course the "/portal/" URL works, but the manual says it is also possible to set a default portal, accessible through the "/" url.

3. Re: Setting the dafault portal
jlaskowski Oct 7, 2005 9:51 AM (in response to clixclix)Hi,
Oh come on, you have read it, haven't you? :)
The way the portals (actually, JBoss Portal itself) are accessed is configured in the deployment descriptor of the web app (bound to /portal). It's described at http://docs.jboss.com/jbportal/v2.0Final/user-guide/en/html/installation.html#d0e636, but in fact you don't have to build Portal from the sources. Go to jboss-portal.sar!/portal-server.war/WEB-INF/web.xml and change the servlet-mapping of PortalServletWithPathMapping.

julien1 Oct 7, 2005 10:22 AM (in response to clixclix)you need to put the portal-server.war web application on the / path of the tomcat server, for now it is /portal. to do it.
