ilya_shaikovsky Jun 16, 2008 7:25 AM (in response to infinity2heaven)you could manually set up inplace like calendar. So just create conditionally rendered output for label and calendar. And make calendar rendered via ajax after label clicked for example.
In general - yes our calendar created for every row and it could not be avoided. -

infinity2heaven Jun 16, 2008 10:50 AM (in response to infinity2heaven)It's surprising that such a simple widget in Richfaces -- calendar doesn't wokr properly. I've found from other teams and all of them have stopped using rich:calendar for precisely that reason. I'm still committed to find a resolution for this, hence the request.
Pl suggest what I could for for a better performance -

Hi,
I'm using RC 3.2.1RC3 with JSP 1.2.
I 've also got a large datatable and a calendar in each row.
And i have very poor performance.
ilya_shaikovsky, could you be more precise on how could we improve our pages ?
Is there a way to use the componentControl in order to initialize only one calendar widget per page ?
