Custom portal pages per user

Hello,

We had a requirement where each user should be able to build his own page,
by putting the portlets he wants on them. Is there a way we can do that right now.

As far I understand with the current set up the pages and page layouts are more or less standard and only the ADMIN can change them. But still they would be same for all the users.

Hi,

Do we have the required back end support to store page preferences per user. I mean the custom pages with portlets what each user wants to see.

Is the dashboard you mentioned part of the next release, or is it on the roadmap. Looks like for portals user level page customization would be really
a desired feature.
