roy.russo Jan 23, 2006 11:13 AM (in response to noicangi)No. The CMSAdmin portlet is tied to using the JCR CMS.

ryen Jan 25, 2006 9:51 AM (in response to noicangi)Roy,
How about the other way, from HelloWorldPortlet doView() method to reference html/jsp content in CMS? If it's doable, could you give us an example?
Thank you in advance,

roy.russo Jan 25, 2006 10:44 AM (in response to noicangi)Why don't you just create an extra instance of the CMSPortlet and set a different start-page in its preferences?

noicangi, I would like to know if exists a way to set the start page of one instance of the CMSPortlet in the user interface of the JBoss Portal, without edit any XML file. Is that possible ? Thanks. -

Roy,
The management portlet has the tab "Instances". In there I found the link "CMSPortletInstance" and the tab "Preferences" on the right. But when I enter in the tab "Preferences", I see just something like that:Key Description ReadOnly Value Instance Portlet
without any rows containing the preferences. What´s wrong? Thanks again. -

10. Re: 4newbies: cms admin for a portlet
sitongia Feb 25, 2006 12:50 PM (in response to noicangi)I'm looking at the 2.4 portal now. The Management Instances Preferences for a CMS portlet I've instantiated has
Key Description ReadOnly Value Instance Portlet
indexpage Description false %2Fdefault%2Findex.html Create %2Fdefault%2Findex.html
How do I use this to set the start page?
I click on the wand, and get delete, update and changeme buttons. I don't understand the syntax of the field, and what it is controlling. -

roy.russo Feb 27, 2006 5:18 PM (in response to noicangi)The change me field should be where you put the start page path, eg. /default/support.html

14. Re: 4newbies: cms admin for a portlet
roy.russo Feb 28, 2006 9:21 AM (in response to noicangi)No. The feature was only added in 2.4.
No new features go in to the 2.2 branch, only fixes.
