Can't find RolePortlet in standard 2.2 binary distribution?

I can't seem to find the RolePortlet? I'm using the default configuration (download, unzip, run) of 2.2 (binary) and there is no RolePortlet listed. What am I missing? Thanks.

To clarify, I'm using the default configuration of:

JBoss Portal 2.2 + JBoss AS 4.0.3SP1 (2005-12-15)

I've made no changes to any of the Portal config files.

The default 2.2, has it commented out in the default-object.xml.

Get RC2 and you will see it, or uncomment the block.

the role portlet is enabled in 2.2.1RC1 and disabled in 2.2.0

I had a look in the default-object.xml file and couldn't find a commented out entry. What can I add to get the Role Portlet to work?

I have a slow internet connection so it is a problem to download the latest version of the portal. If there is some other way to create roles, please could someone point me in the right direction?

Also, is there a developer's manual available? I have read the User and Reference guides but they don't have information on building my own portlets.
