Sending a request without using Ajax

Hi,
I have a .xhtml Page which uses a rich:dataTable and a rich:datascroller.
My problem is, when I use internet Explorer 6 with the security settings disabled for “Script ActiveX controls marked safe for scripting”, the page is loaded with errors.
The scroller doesn’t work and it shows an error with: …”A4J.AJAX is null or not an object”…
My question is, is there any way to specifying in the request not to use AJAX for scripting? For policy reasons the security settings can’t be changed in the IE-6 browser.

Hi, I have the same problem: A4J.AJAX is null or not an object. But the most stranger is that this problem occurs just with one IE7 version, the 7.0.5296.0

Somebody can help me? I'm using: rich-faces 3.3.1.GA

Are you using 2003 Server? Are there any particular JavaScript error messsages in browser status area?

No, I'm not using the 2003 server, and I guess that it is not an error with my application specifically, because when I try open the Demo page of Richfaces in the browser, I have the same javascript error: "A4J.AJAX is null or not an object".

That does seem like a beta2 version, not a final one. Install the final release.
