JBoss Forums - Categories and Forums by Role?

Is it possible to limit access to specific categories and/or forums by role? It seems that the forum functions are assigned by role, but I don't see any place to allow/deny viewing and posting per category and/or forum.

Is this on the horizon?

This is essential for me to use JBoss Forums, as I don't want to have to maintain separate forum DBs for internal and external topics.

It is not possible to limit specific categories and/or forums by role yet. There are however plans to add this feature :-).

some alpha of new forums impl should be released soon but I cannot promise you with any date yet
