2. Re: Change role of administrator
theute May 16, 2006 8:32 AM (in response to silicio)If you change from admin role to user role, it makes sense that the admin doesn't have the admin rights anymore.
Did you remove the admin role ? -
3. Re: Change role of administrator
silicio May 16, 2006 1:49 PM (in response to silicio)What I did was:
1 - login as user
2 - click on "list of all users"
3 - unchecled the role of admin of admin user
4 - log out
5 - log in as admin
6 - CMS management and Management Portlets are now hidden.
I think this could not be happened... because if I am an admin, I don't want users to change my role.
I recently downloaded and upgraded from 2.2.0 to 2.2.1
Now if i login as user i can't see the link "list of all users".
Now it's ok.
Thanks -
4. Re: Change role of administrator
theute May 17, 2006 3:49 AM (in response to silicio)admin user is a user as any other. You can delete it and create a new user with the admin role.

5. Re: Change role of administrator
silicio May 18, 2006 7:07 AM (in response to silicio)I've understood, but is it possible to create an user administrator who anyone can't change his role (like MS Windows hierarchy: administrator, power user, guest...)?
