Portal state retention

I've added a flash via management portal

It displayed as expected, but when i restarted jboss whatever i've created just dissappeared.

I understand this is not being saved in DB and initial values are hard-coded. Any ideals how to retain the state after a appserver restart?

what is the state you are talking about ?

a. I've loaded flash portlet
b. using management portlet i've created an instance of this
c. assigned to a portal page using management interface
d. results!!
e. restarted JAS -> and no signs of the page which i've created

JBP 2.2.1 with JAS 4.0.3

Once you created the page, can you check that it exists in the database ?

sorry for the delayed reply. (i was working on another project for last 3 months)

Now i've upgraded Jboss AS to 4.0.4GA / JBP 2.4, all works fine as expected, but still i'm unable to retain the state as described above.

I've created several pages, all appeared in jbp_object_node table, but once i shutdown JBOSS AS all pages gone missing or reverted back to old state

Once you created the page, can you check that it exists in the database ?
