1. Re: Can datascroller submit values on scrolling ?
ilya_shaikovsky Jun 24, 2008 8:16 AM (in response to martinjozef)in order to store changed values in dataTable while scrolling - use ajaxSingle=false on your scroller.

2. Re: Can datascroller submit values on scrolling ?
martinjozef Jun 24, 2008 4:15 PM (in response to martinjozef)Thank you for the info. That worked !!!
So....... Onto the next hurdle that i encountered once you helped me with value submit on scroll.
If you notice in the jsf snippet i gave earlier, you will see that i have a datagrid that embeds datatable. So for each dataGrid Item i generate a datatable with sub items. Each datatable has it's own datascroller and here is where the new problem begins... When i use the scroller in any of the generated tables
and then transition to another TAB and comeback, all of the datascrollers jump to the position of the last used scroller.
This is bad since some scrollers get position index that is out of bound. and anyway each table should retains it's own position and not synchronize to some one value.
How can i ensure that each datatable rendered on my TAB retains it's own scroll index when moving from tab to tab?
Or at least how to reset every table to come back to position one?
Remember the key here is that datatables get generated dynamical by datagrid iterating a list that itself passes a sub list down to datatable.
All suggestions are greatly appreciated. -
3. Re: Can datascroller submit values on scrolling ?
martinjozef Jun 25, 2008 9:28 AM (in response to martinjozef)I have studied all of the API in datatable and datascroller, so far i am not able to figure out the use case i described above. I am working with 3.1.4 GA version of Rich Faces as i cannot update to any later release due to apache myfaces 1.2.3 incompatibilities.
