1. Re: What happened to all my portlet windows?
andrewboyd Sep 11, 2006 6:35 PM (in response to andrewboyd)I went to using the default server and nothing changed. I don't have portal windows any more. At least it shows that it is not part of the server instance that is messed up. Must be something with the app-server.
Any suggestions?

theute Sep 12, 2006 3:22 AM (in response to andrewboyd)If you can afford it, drop and recreate the database.
This is the only time someone report something like this. -

andrewboyd Sep 12, 2006 12:51 PM (in response to andrewboyd)Thomas,
I droped the database and re-created it but still no luck. I can't see any portlet windows.
Any other ideas? -

peterj Sep 12, 2006 1:02 PM (in response to andrewboyd)I think you lost your stylesheet. I tried accessing the sytlesheet directly and it could not be found. I suggest deploying the jboss-portal.sar directory again.

andrewboyd Sep 12, 2006 5:27 PM (in response to andrewboyd)Peter,
I went ahead and reinstalled all of jboss and I still can not get any portal windows. Where should I look for the stylesheet? -
7. Re: What happened to all my portlet windows?
peterj Sep 12, 2006 6:05 PM (in response to andrewboyd)The stylesheet should be in server/default/deploy/jboss-portal.sar/portal-core.war/themes/phalanx/portal_style.css

andrewboyd Sep 12, 2006 6:16 PM (in response to andrewboyd)Hi peter,
It is there and it is readable to everyone. Is there anything I can look for in the log files? This is starting to get discouraging.
Thanks,

9. Re: What happened to all my portlet windows?
theute Sep 13, 2006 2:48 AM (in response to andrewboyd)It looks like you have an apache frontend.
If you access the embedded tomcat directly it works, see:
http://howibecameaninternetmillionaire.com:8080/portal
If you prefer you can change the tomcat port 8080 to 80 see the documentation.
I am eager to see how you became a millionaire ;) -

11. Re: What happened to all my portlet windows?
andrewboyd Sep 19, 2006 1:50 PM (in response to andrewboyd)I have a fix.
The guys at Rackspace came up with this one. I needed to add the following to my uriworkermap.properties:
/portal-core=loadbalancer
/portal-core/*=loadbalancer
Adding those two lines got it to read the css.
Thanks for all the help. Hope this helps someone else.
