4. Re: Both binary and source downloads fails to get deployed
roy.russo Oct 8, 2006 8:50 PM (in response to kkganesan)Download the jboss portal bundled version and see if that works.
If it does, your other jboss install is likely hosed. -

6. Re: Both binary and source downloads fails to get deployed
roy.russo Oct 9, 2006 9:34 AM (in response to kkganesan)Are you doing any modifications to the bundle, or just unzipping and running it?
-
7. Re: Both binary and source downloads fails to get deployed
kkganesan Oct 9, 2006 1:50 PM (in response to kkganesan)Downloaded, unzipped and ran ./run.sh the bundled one.
Are there any platform specific (Ma os x) changes to be made ? -
8. Re: Both binary and source downloads fails to get deployed
claprun Oct 19, 2006 5:11 PM (in response to kkganesan)Are you still experiencing the problem? I just downloaded Portal 2.4.0 bundled and it works as expected on OS X 10.4.8 with JSE 5. I'm going to check with 1.4.2 but I don't anticipate it to work any worse.

9. Re: Both binary and source downloads fails to get deployed
claprun Oct 19, 2006 5:23 PM (in response to kkganesan)Yeah, no problem with 1.4.2 either. Let us know if you are still experiencing issues.

10. Re: Both binary and source downloads fails to get deployed
kkganesan Oct 19, 2006 5:52 PM (in response to kkganesan)After looking at the above reply, i again downloaded bundled version 2.4 and ended up getting the same result. Just cant understand what is happening on my side?
Just four steps,
1) Downloaded the bundled zip
2)Unzipped
3) Cd in to bin directory and chmod 755 run.sh
4) then ran ./run.sh
Did you do the same thing to get it running ? -

13. Re: Both binary and source downloads fails to get deployed
claprun Oct 19, 2006 6:00 PM (in response to kkganesan)I downloaded the bundled version from: http://prdownloads.sourceforge.net/jboss/jboss-portal-2.4.0-bundled.zip?download
then did the same as you did with the only difference being chmod +x run.sh...
Can remove the log, tmp and data directories in the server/default/ directory and try again, then send me the server.log file, please? -
14. Re: Both binary and source downloads fails to get deployed
kkganesan Oct 19, 2006 6:14 PM (in response to kkganesan)checked /Library/Java/Extensions/ (i dont have Java dir in ~/Library)
there was only one file libsvnjavahl.jnilib
deleted this file. Restarted the portal same result. Unsuccessful.
p.s. :sorry for the previous double submission.
