Setting Window Default State

Is there a way to set the window default state? Say I have 5 windows on the a page, when the page is rendered, I want the first window to be in the "NORMAL" state while the other 4 windows are "MINIMIZED".

Is there some place within the xml configuration (-object.xml, portlet.xml, etc...) files that I can define the "default" state of a window?

I am also stuck with the same problem. If this can be done programetically then also my problem will be solved. Please let me know if any one solves this issue.

lok at the LayoutStrategy. You can write your own strategy to get what you are describing here.
