WSRP and Cloning

Ok, I am getting this error:
17:24:59,662 WARN [ActionHandler] Requesting clone before write but since this is not currently supported we switch to read only

And it seems that is because this is not a supported feature.

Is there any way to make this a supported feature? What would need to be done, is this already on the road map?

The optional Portlet Management interface is not currently supported but will be as of 2.6 (so yes, this is on the roadmap).

Probably has been asked a million times, but is there any eta on when we will start to see 2.6 releases?

There will be a developer release soon, though it won't include any new things on the WSRP front.
