portlet's title

hi,
i'm using jbportal 2.4 & mysql.
i want to use the same portlet many times in the same page and to do this by giving a different title for each one of them. for exemple : my portlet displays a menu that contains links(the menu and its links are extracted from the DB).
i don't want to touch the portlets.xml each time i want to add a menu to the page.

Look at the RenderResponse.setTitle method, it will let you set the title at the same time that your portlet code is populating the links within you doView method.
