2. Re: Portal Structure Export / Looking for tools.
laurent.vernet Apr 19, 2007 12:08 PM (in response to laurent.vernet)Thanks for your 'quick' answer, Thomas.
I think this features have to be developped.
The integration process should be shorten whith a tool like that.
I have been working on other portal solutions like I_M WP, which can import/export all the configuration with a command line tools 'XmlAcces'.
I think I will have to look to CVS, to develop it.
Thanks to all et Merci Thomas. -

5. Re: Portal Structure Export / Looking for tools.
theute Sep 20, 2007 3:03 AM (in response to laurent.vernet)Soon we will better handle the mis-written configuration files, so you will always write correct xml files.
Again if someone want to start working on scripts like this that would be great since it's not a priority for us at the moment and days are only 24 hours long :) -
6. Re: Portal Structure Export / Looking for tools.
theute Sep 20, 2007 3:55 AM (in response to laurent.vernet)k3nnymusic, If you have many objects to create it means that you have some structure somehow, writing an XML file can be made by any tool, i don't understand how your problem is related. You will not used the interface to create 1000s of objects anyway,
For your second concern, a portlet is a Java app, any debugger for Java app will do, there is nothing specific.
