How to start an action in a new browser in RF 3.2.1(JSF 1.2)

Hello all,

This question might be stupid but here it is: Is there a way when I click on a command button (h:commandButton or a4j:commandButton, ...) to start a new browser window with the result of the action? ( a littke bit like the href tag does with target"blank").


Environment: RF 3.2.2, JSF 1.2(Sun), facelets 1.14, IE7

I tried to use:

<a4j:commandLink action="#{accountBean.print}" target="_blank">

but it fails. Seems to be a bug in Richfaces.

This is not a bug. For do that use the standard <h:commandLink/> or <a4j:htmlCommandLink/>...
If you want to open new window for an AJAX request, I guess this is not possible...
