what UI framework should I use? struts? jsf? spring?

Is there a UI framework of choice for use with JBOSS portal (what is the preffered UI framework)? Is there a framework that you recommend that I not use? We are considering STRUTS what are the pro's and cons? Is anyone out there using STRUTS?

JSF is probably the safest/easiest choice when it comes to portlet development.

I don't have any experience using Struts in a portlet context, sorry... :( There is a bridge for struts (to bridge the struts world with the portlet world) but I don't know how well it works.

I think you should chose the best framework you want that integrates with a portlet environment.

For instance the old struts 1.x framework should be avoided at all because its integration with portlets is a hack and not really tested...

The Struts 2.x stuff is ok as it integrates with portlet natively.

Personally I would use JSF + Facelet because once you know the framework it becomes very productive and easy to use.
