What happened to the JBoss Eclipse IDE Portal Plugin?

Howdy!

I was looking for a simple way to create new portlets without creating the whole structure by hand. I've already installed the JBoss IDE Plugin for Eclipse but nothing for portlet developers comes with it. So I asked google and got some info about the 'JBoss Eclipse IDE Portal Plugin'. There is even a Forum for that in the JBoss Forums but it's closed.

So what happened to it? Is there any alternative for what I'm looking for?

Ok so how do you guys create a new portlet? Do you create all the structure by hand?
I'm looking for a plugin for some IDE (eclipse would be great but netbeans for example would be ok too) to easily create portlets.. Is this even possible?

The Eclipse plugin was a contribution which didn't go to the end.
Now of course if someone is willing to take that back and to the end that would be great (or write from scratch, i don't even know how far it went). Ideally it would integrate nicely with the JBoss Developer Studio :)

I'm searching a plugin for eclipse to develop portlets for JBoss Portal. Some people talk about JBoss Portal plugin for eclipse, but nothing concrete... Do you have new information about this plugin since you posted your message ?

Like described above, there was some eclipse plugin. But the development got canceled as far as I know.
