Changing the access denied error page to a custom page

If user who doesnt have access to a portal trying access it, I am getting Access denied: HTTP 403 Forbidden response error page. I need change that to a custom jsp page. I tried in the way described in refernce guide. I set the pproperties,

<property>
 <name>control.portal.access_denied</name>
 <value>jsp</value>
</property>

and

<property>
 <name>control.portal.resource_uri</name>
 <value>/WEB-INF/jsp/error/portal.jsp</value>
</property>

But its also not working. I am using JBoss 2.6.3

Any help is appreciated.

I'm having the same trouble using JBoss4.0.5GA
Any comments ?
