Secure Portlet - Message

if there is a secured portlet/window and someone tries to access it with a role that is not in the security constraint, the portlet will not show up. is there a way that in this case some kind of message (like "access denied") is shown up instead of not showing up the portlet?

In portal 2.4.x, there was a jboss-portal.sar/conf/config.xml file with a setting named core.render.window_access_denied which you could set to 'hide' or 'show'. The 'show' value did what you are asking for.

While this file still appears in 2.6.x, it appears to be ignored - even though that property is set to show the portlet window is still hidden. (It looks like the code that read this file and interpreted its contents has disappeared in 2.6.x.)
