Implementing Trackback on JBoss Portal (Portlets)

Hi,
I've created several portlets that display posts and user blog comments from the DB. I'm currently trying to implement Trackback functionality to this on the portal.

Is this possible with the JBoss Portal? If so, how should I go about doing this? If anyone can show me some sort of step by step on how to accomplish this or point me in the right direction would be much appreciated.

Um, what is "trackback"?

Trackback is when a blogger writes a comment on blog B about a post or an article on blog A. Then it sends a Trackback ping to blog A notifying that blog B has written something about it. The Trackback ping contains the URL to the particular post.

I'm really stumped on this and there isn't much I could find on Google. So any help would be appreciated.
