remove JBossPortal blue header from page.jsp

As per Error Handling Configuration chapter http://docs.jboss.com/jbportal/v2.6.6/referenceGuide/html/errorhandling.html,
we have changed the portal.jsp under
$PORTAL_HOME/server/default/deploy/jboss-portal.sar/portal-core.war/WEB-INF/jsp/error
to match our design but the page always displays the JBossPortal blue header , how can we get rid of it ?

The header background is applied using the stylesheet jboss-portal.sar/portal-core.war/themes/renaissance/portal_style.css. This stylesheet references the various GIFs in the co-located images directory.
