I'm using 2.6.6 with RichFaces and PortletBridge (not the JSR 301 based but custom one of RichFaces which works with 168 portlets).
What I found that if I use A4J.AJAX.Submit button this gives me perfect Ajax behaviour within a Portlet. The call hits back the Portlet and I can access portal context, portlet state, preferences everyting.
Can anyone tell me whether this magic is done by RichFaces Portlet Bridge ? Also is there any limitation to this approach compared to JSR 286 based (using resourceURL) approach ?
