Error in "bea" consumer configuration(WSRP)

Hi friends,

I am trying to use demo WSRP consumer hosted by BEA, by entering the WSDL URL: http://wsrp.bea.com:7001/producer/producer?WSDL. But After clicking Refresh & Save it gives me this error

java.lang.RuntimeException: java.lang.RuntimeException: Couldn't initialize services for WSDL at 'http://wsrp.bea.com:7001/producer/producer?WSDL' Cause:java.lang.RuntimeException: Couldn't initialize services for WSDL at 'http://wsrp.bea.com:7001/producer/producer?WSDL'

What would be the reason, Can anyone plz help me in resolving this error.

Look at the server log, there might be more details there. It might just be that BEA's public producer is temporarly unavailable...

Thanks 4r the response , I checked the server.log file wat is says is unable to initialize the WSDL services

If u have any idea can u plz tell me how should I proceed.

One more thing is when i start the jboss portal server I get this message

I am also facing the same issue the URL http://wsrp.bea.com:7001/producer/producer?WSDL is not able to return anything from a browser also.

Please provide some other WSDL if it is not working

I tried the WSDL - http://portalstandards.oracle.com/portletapp/portlets?WSDL

But now it says -

• Error : Problem getting service description for producer odacle, please see the logs for more information. Cause:setProperty must be overridden by all subclasses of SOAPMessage

There is nothing we can do if BEA/Oracle decides to remove their public producers…

The error you're seeing is because you're attempting to run JBoss AS 4 on Java 6 using the Java 5 distribution, please use the proper Java 6 distribution. Note also that development has stopped on JBoss Portal, our efforts are now focused on our new Portal offering: GateIn. Any specific reason you're still using JBoss Portal?

Oh. I was not aware of the fact that developement of JBoss Portal server has been stopped. I just wanted to learn the Portal technology and JBoss being a very rich on the documentation and forums front, I chose it :-). Now will try gateln.
Anyway, thanks for the info. Do you know any WSRP WSDL for learning purpose ?
