How to define ScanPeriod in Jboss5?

In earlier version of the Jboss there was the ScanPeriod property defined in the DeploymentScanner , I dont see this property defined in the Jboss5 DeploymentScanner(VFSDeploymentScanner) .
Where can I find such property, I tried to look into the code but failed to get it from the code?

There was a prototype of a hot deployment scanner in the MC_VDF_WORK branch, but it appears to have been dropped in the merge. The current scanners do not watch for changes.

I am not able to see the scan period setting anywhere.
Should it not be in the start method of the VFSScanner , the scanPeriod can be injected through the bootstrap-beans.xml file and it will be used in the VFSScanner .

Because of this Hot Deployment is not working in Jboss5 Beta , i just check that .

Yes, this is a known issue. Until the ProfileService deployment repository notion is fleshed out hot deployment will not exist.
