1. Re: JBAS-5268, AbstractTopLevelClassLoaderDeployer
adrian.brock Feb 29, 2008 11:00 AM (in response to starksm64)It's done.
Here: http://www.jboss.com/index.html?module=bb&op=viewtopic&t=130518
It's part of this http://jira.jboss.com/jira/browse/JBCL-1
I mentioned on a different thread that I was going to try to rework the war classloader
using this, but I wasn't necessarily going to change it for JBoss5. I just wanted to make
sure I had all the required features.
If it's necessary then I'll do more than a proof of concept. :-) -
2. Re: JBAS-5268, AbstractTopLevelClassLoaderDeployer
starksm64 Feb 29, 2008 11:30 AM (in response to starksm64)I'll take a look at updating the war deployer to make sure it can work, and its probably the easier path to fixing this and webservice issues.

3. Re: JBAS-5268, AbstractTopLevelClassLoaderDeployer
adrian.brock Feb 29, 2008 11:47 AM (in response to starksm64)You can't until I've tested/updated the other stuff in JBossAS.
It uses the new ClassLoading/Module spi to create a managed classloader
with dependencies for the subdeployment. -
4. Re: JBAS-5268, AbstractTopLevelClassLoaderDeployer
starksm64 Feb 29, 2008 12:20 PM (in response to starksm64)So I was trying to understand if your doing a JBossCL.2.0.0.Beta11/JBossMC-2.0.0.Beta11 release for the affected projects in the near term so I could start looking at using this.

5. Re: JBAS-5268, AbstractTopLevelClassLoaderDeployer
adrian.brock Feb 29, 2008 12:32 PM (in response to starksm64)Should be by the end of next week.
I've put Friday as the target date in JIRA for all the RC1, Beta11 releases
getting integrated into JBossAS.
This should include the war classloader prototype. I don't want to have
to rework the RC1 releases if I find a problem later. ;-)
