I'm currently testing a rewritten plugin such that it's possible to create templates, so the plugin now reads a template definition file to populate a drop-down list. Then you select the type of portlet you'd like from the list, and the appropriate templates are used to (using FreeMarker) generate the descriptors and skeleton code for your portlet project.

I'm currently working with Marshall to get the code to a stage where we can put it on SourceForge (package names, Licenses etc.)

Plug-in JBossPortletPlugin was unable to load class net.kjames.jBossPortletPlugin.newProjectWizard.

how can i resolve this

Have you got the latest version from http://www.kjames.net/eclipseFeatures? The class structure has changed so you may need to delete/disable the previous version.
