Sepearte Transactional and Messaging persistent stores?

Currently, JbossMessaging persits the transctional log and message persistence into one persistent store. Is there a possibility to split them so they can be persited to individual different stores?

Eventually we will probably use a fast file based store for transaction logging and caching of persistent state, possibly something from the Arjuna codebase.

I want to make this pluggable so possibly provide a HOWL implementation too.
