No of retrys for a client trying to publish a message

Hi,

From the client side, can the number of times a client tries to publish/send a message to a messaging server be configured. i.e., if it fails for some reason during one attempt it should try for another specified number of attempts.

Currently we have the SOCKET_TIMEOUT parameter set for this purpose.
After the timeout we proceed with further operations so that the publishing part is not blocked.

Any help/pointers on this is much appreciated.

Not at the messaging level.

Remoting has a configuration parameter that lets you configure the number of times an invocation will be retired over a failing socket.
